In this video we are going to animate dog walk cycle. In this part, we will draw the key poses. The four legged walk key poses have the same pattern. In this first key pose, the front legs will have the extreme position and the rear legs will be in the passing position. The shoulders will be down and the hips will be higher. The head will follow the hips.We add a blank keyframe and draw the same pose with legs flipped. Please see the video and follow. We copy the first pose and paste it at the end as seen in the video. We now add a blank keyframe between first and second key pose and start drawing a new pose. Here the front legs will be in the passing position which makes the shoulder go up and the rear legs will have the extreme pose, thus the hips are low.The head is following the hips which will make it go down as well.We now draw the same pose with the legs flipped on frame 5.In the next pose, we will draw the contact pose for the front legs and the up pose for the rear legs. Please see the video. We again draw the same pose with legs flipped. After that we will draw the contact pose for the rear legs and the up pose for the front legs and again flip the legs for the same pose.We have now completed all the key poses for dog walk cycle.
